Financing the projects
Operation Dagsvaerk's work is independent of economic, religious and party-political interests.
The campaign activities are funded primarily by funds from other organizations, the Ministry of Education and the Danish Development Agency (DANIDA).
As a result of the campaign activities, the students raise between € 0.8-1.0 million annually for education projects in the developing world. In this way Operation Dagsvaerk has enabled children and young people all over the world to receive and education.
All together the Danish youngsters have raised over 120 million Danish kroner ( approx. 16 milion Euros ) through Operation Dagsvaerk since its foundation. Thereby the Danish youth have helped thousands of young people in 20 different countries throughout the world to get access to an education.
